About The Spec Edit
Built from experience. Designed for the details.
Hi, I'm Alex, founder of The Spec Edit.
After years working in custom residential construction, both behind the scenes and hands-on in the field, I've seen firsthand where builders need the most support.
I've learned that even the smallest design details can have a major impact on a project's timeline, budget, and finished result.
That's what inspired The Spec Edit.
From custom builds to investment properties, The Spec Edit is a design resource created to simplify selections, streamline decisions, and handle the details that bring a home together.
Because builders should be able to focus on building, without getting lost in the selections.
